RANDOM was formed in August 2007 when Paul Standel teamed up with local band House Rules. After several lineup changes and adjustments to the sets RANDOM was formed. In November 2007 Jennifer Standel joined the band to round out the lineup. Paul Standel is a veteran guitar player with roots back to the 1980s Sunset Strip Scene. Paul brings an edgy style on his guitar and vocally, giving new life to the large selection of popular music that RANDOM has to offer. Dan Barton plays bass guitar for RANDOM. Dan also has roots dating back to the days in Hollywood playing in many popular bands. Dan brings a solid funky feel to everything he plays. Playing drums for RANDOM is Jim Metcalfe. Jim has a long history of club and working band experience. The latest member to join RANDOM is Jennifer Standel. Jennifer has been working with Paul for over 20 years, and their time together really shows. They bring consistent, tight vocal harmonies that give RANDOM their signature sound.
